Panos Spiliotis joined ACI EUROPE in September 2014, covering the temporary leave of the Head of Environmental Strategy & Intermodality. In January 2015, he was appointed to the full time role of Manager Safety, Capacity, ATM & Single European Sky.

In this role, he coordinates the work of Technical Operational Services Committee (TOSC) and represents ACI EUROPE in various fora at the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), EUROCONTROL, European Commission and the SESAR Joint Undertaking.

Immediately prior to joining ACI EUROPE, Panos worked as Policy Adviser to Spyros Danellis MEP (S&D), for whom he managed several dossiers relating to the work of the Parliamentary Committees for Transport & Tourism (TRAN) and Environment (ENVI). During this time, Panos also supported Mr Danellis’ work as S&D Spokesperson on EU regulations on the ATM sector and Vice-Chair of the Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity & Sustainable Development.

A graduate of the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), Panos holds a Bsc in Economics & Philosophy and an MSc in International Relations. His previous employers include the United Nations (2006), TA NEA Newspaper (2008) and the Party of European Socialists.

A Greek national, Panos also speaks fluent English and has working knowledge of Spanish & French. In this spare time, he enjoys cycle touring.
